The College was established on 10 May 2002 with a mission to impart education and to pull the potential of students so they may emerge as complete individuals. The college started with Three Year Degree courses at Under Graduate level i.e.- B.B.A. (Bachelor of Business Administration) & B.C.A. (Bachelor of Computer Application) having temporary affiliation with Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra.
Initially, the college started the courses with an intake of 60 students in each course…
Further, in 2006, the college got its permanent affiliation for both the courses by the University. During this span of time, the college was fully furnished with the strength of about 100 students in each batch of B.C.A. and above 100 students in each batch of B.B.A. for which the college took temporary permission to enroll the students above the approved intake.
In 2004, the college stepped towards the education department and introduced B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) course with an intake of 100 students and got permanent affiliation to B.Ed. Course by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra in 2006.
As the demand of computer & I.T. arose in the market, the college added a new course i.e. P.G.D.C.A. (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application) in 2010 with an intake of 40 seats, so as to provide computer literacy to the graduates. M.Sc (COMPUTER SCIENCE) was introduced in the year 2015 with a total intake of 30 seats and M.Com was introduced in the year 2016 with a total intake of 60 Seats.
It has settled a fair performance record in the Department of Science and Biotechnology where students learn and excel by Hands on experiments and live experience in their final year dissertation….
GCMT, Aligarh is a dream project in a chain of quality educational institutes, envisioned by ‘The Gagan Group of Institutions, which is already running Gagan Public School at Jail Road and Agra Road, Aligarh, affiliated to C.I.S.C.E. Board, New Delhi & Gagan Public School Khair Road Affiliated to C.B.S.E. New Delhi.
GCMT is situated in the heart of the city Aligarh on Agra Road [3 Km. From old bus stand and railway station]. Thus, its campus is accessible by local conveyance i.e. bus, rickshaw, etc. Presently, the college has been granted permanent affiliation by RAJA MAHENDRA PRATAP SINGH STATE UNIVERSITY, ALIGARH for all courses. The college administration is putting in the best efforts to bring Post-Graduate courses like M.B.A., M.C.A., M.Ed., and Diploma courses like P.G.D.B.M. in near future.
